The article examines the grounds and the main moments of meaningful relationships between Nicholai N. Strakhov and his followers, Yuri N. Govorukha-Otrok and Feodor E. Shperk. It deals in a comparative manner with some personal background, philosophical and literary historical contexts of essay-statements about him, made just before and immediately after the philosophers death. Both of the followers demonstrate the hermeneutical analytic strategies towards their teachers works. To consider their interpreting voices is to represent different generations of Russian thinkers and to reveal a gradual increasing distance between them and their teacher and a corresponding change in the features they focused on and characteristics they gave to Strakhovs personality and philosophical narrative.
