The paper examines a metal mirror with a central loop decorated with threeconcentric relief circles of the Karpovka - Anke-4 type discovered in a rich female burialof the Hun period uncovered at the Mukhino 2 settlement in the Upper Don region. Suchmirrors appeared in the Late Roman period, though they were more typical for the Migration Period and continued to be used in the early medieval period. The search of similar items has demonstrated that mirrors of this type are better represented among the artefacts of the sedentary population, which lived in the North Pontic zone and the Westernpart of the North Caucasus piedmonts in the Migration period.
