The article is devoted to Mordovtsev’s travelogues “Through Spain” and “Through Italy. Travel Arabesques”. The category of time in these essays is presented quite extensively. Depending on the impressions and space specifics, the idea of time duration, determining the specific character of a “historical travelogue”, is transformed.
