Genre features of the modern parable and their preservation during translation

The article is devoted to the study of the genre features of modern English parables. This article explores the concept of a parable as a genre, and considers the genre features of a modern parable: implicitness, allegorical character, indefinite time and space, symbolic heroes. Along with this, the article discusses ways to convey the meaning of the parable from English to Russian.
