Genre trends in the lyrics by R. Shojmardanov

The article shows the specificity of the literary process in Buryatia in the 1990s - early 2000s on example of R. Shoymardanov’s poetry. The role and importance of R. Shoymardanov’s work for lyrical and philosophical development of the Buryat poetry is shown. Genre trends in the poetry are identified, contemplative and meditative features are detected, confessional origins are defined. The tendency to reflection and meditation is observed in the cyclization of philosophical poems, the poet innovation in «Sand beads» poem have been defined. The role of Buddhist philosophy in the creation of artistic philosophy of the author is displayed. Genre and stylistic specificity of creativity of the poet is identified, basic motifs, images and symbols in the lyrics of R. Shoymardanov are traced.
