Zhargalanta - the valley of happiness: digital sources on the history of the rural museum

The article provides information about the Museum of the collective farm named after Ernst Thalmann in ulus Zhargalanta, little-known for the modern researchers that existed in the middle of the XX century. The history of the creation and activity of the rural museums in Buryatia of this period (before the beginning of the "museum boom") remains insufficiently explored. Due to the shortage of the archival materials, visual and publicistic digital sources are involved. The possibilities of using the Internet resources as a source on the history of museum practice in the region are analyzed.
