A harvester to a breeding and seeds growing combine for sunflower harvesting

Usage of the modern technical means for sunflower harvesting (due to their construction designs) is inevitably connected with yield losses which can reach 10-11%. The purpose of our research was to improve and perfect harvester for breeding and seed growing combine providing the head cut with a minimal cut of sunflower stalk independently of their initial length. We develop and made an experimental sample of four-row harvester for breeding and seeds growing combine Delta for sunflower harvesting. The main meanings of the regulated parameters depending on biometric traits of harvesting plants we stated in this article. Length of stalk cut of tall-grwoing sunflower plants is 28.5 cm, low-growing ones - from 15.3 to 21.9 cm. seeds damage is not exceed 1.51% at humidity equal 5.1%.
