Women of the local minor nations of the north-east of the USSR during the Great Patriotic War

In the article the regional aspects of history of the North-East of the USSR during the Great Patriotic War are considered. Basing on archive document collection the author researches the distinctive features of organizational forms and methods of drawing the local minor nations’ women into the Soviet and Communist party bodies. The actual vectors of the authorities’ activity are defined within the scope of conditions, goals and objectives of the war time. The data on the participation of the representatives of local minor nations in social production, their contribution to front support are submitted. The author notes the transformation of traditional areas of local minor nation women’s activities during the war. The article underlines that even in the war period the work of including the local minor nation women into cultural area continued although the implementation of traditional and domestic activities was still recorded. The objective complexity of the development and functioning of health care and social authorities in the region during the war period was revealed.
