The article deals with the question whether the first Christian women commited to the Apostolic gospel, in what form it could exist in the Church and how it was implemented in the Church tradition. Among the closest disciples of the Savior were not of women, but in the New Testament there are those who participated in the Apostolic work (Junia, Priscilla, Lydia, Chloe, and others), were members of the home churches provided practical assistance to the disciples of the Savior, which was designated by the term of «works». It was recognized their right to preach directly to women in private homes or as the catechism in relation to individual women or men.
