The paper publishes an assemblage of funeral offerings from the periodof early nomads living in the Southern Urals in the 4th century BC. The assemblageis attributed to a special group of female graves related to a cult and religious practiceof the early nomadic population inhabiting the Eurasian steppe belt. The burial constructionwas erected in the central part of the kurgan dating to the preceding period (it is datedto the mid II mill. BC). The female grave in question (burial 11) was made in a grave pitof a catacomb type. Funeral offerings such as a stone sacrificial altar and a bronze mirrorfound in the grave are quite interesting. These items are traditionally considered to beowned by priestesses. Remains of a shaman tambourine were found among the gravegoods in Early Iron assemblages for the first time. The publication analyzes the burial rite, funeral offerings as well as the chronology of the burial.
