Victims of cyberfraud as one of the objects of modern cybervictimology: a brief statistical analysis of criminal victimization rates 2021-2022

Cyberfraud, as one of the types of cybercrime, has a high degree of public danger for a significant proportion of users of information technology and information resources. Assessment of its impact on the criminogenic situation in the information space is not possible without taking into account the state of mass victimization of various categories of victims of this crime. Criminological analysis of departmental victimological statistics conducted by the author showed that in the period of 2021-2022 there is a tendency to a significant reduction in criminal victimization of cyber-fraud in different social groups. At the same time, the cybervictimization of certain categories of cyberfraud victims in active professional activities remains high.
