The iconic image of the dwelling in Udmurt culture has been the personification of the feminine for centuries. In this article, the authors reveal the main constructive and decorative features of the traditional house «Corkа» and the Udmurt women's costume in the context of unified sacred characteristics. At the same time, special attention is paid to the embodiment of the image of the mother, as the cultural and semantic paradigm of these two interconnected phenomena of Udmurt culture.
