Housing problem as a social well-being indicator of the population of Khabarovsk

Based on sociological survey data and official statistics the article comprehends the satisfaction of the residents of Khabarovsk with the housing problem status. The paper reviews such aspects as accessibility and availability of housing of population, the efficiency of implementing regional programmes focused on housing improvement. The article identifies the positive dynamics of population satisfaction with housing for 2013-2015. At the same time, the author concludes that it is necessary to continue the authorities’ housing improvement activity in order to increase the level of the residents’ social well-being.
