The methods of formal-stylistic and semiotic analysis, gender analysis were used in the interpretation. In the course of the work it was established that gender representations and poetics of the "feminine" in T.T. Necheukhina's work are based on the search for a special feminine language and optics, based on traditional ideas about women. Necheukhina rethinks dominant meanings about the place of women in society. She understands the continuation of the family not as a line from parent to child, but from the older female generation to the younger female generation. Older women are understood as keepers of traditions, hearth, life and death, passing on wisdom to others. They are not mystical goddesses or abstract femininity, but a real woman in every family. Necheukhina's world is almost devoid of the image of men. So, this concept, far from some contemporary feminist ideas, demonstrates a gravitation towards archaic (matriarchal) values in the search for a feminine language in art.
