Life after divorce: suicide and substance abuse indicators of men suffering from alcohol dependence

The article deals with Suicide, substance abuse and personality and psychological characteristics of men suffering from alcohol dependence and for a long time in a state of divorce. The obtained data specify the dynamics of autoaggression in men suffering from alcohol dependence, in the period after the divorce, demonstrating the absence of significant growth of the studied parameters. That is not consistent with the pre-existing stable opinion about the "fatal" effect of divorce on the fate of the drinking man.
