"Eager life": the 80th anniversary of regional studies researcher Alla I. Fedina

The publication is devoted to the famous Kuban regional studies researcher Alla Ivanovna Fedina, who celebrates her 80th anniversary in 2018. The author acquaints the readers with the major milestones of the researcher’s eventful biography. Her local history activities are highlighted in detail, the main theme of which was historical and biographical research related to the life and work of famous natives of Kuban. Considerable attention in the works of A. I. Fedina was paid to Yakov G. Kukharenko, the first Kuban writer and the ataman of the Black Sea Cossack Host. The author emphasizes the importance of the work of an experienced regional studies researcher for the development of the regional historical science, for creating expositions of the Literary Museum of Kuban, for searching for forgotten and considered as lost valuable relics related to the past of the region. The main scientific works of A. I. Fedina are listed and briefly described.
