Life orientation and the meanings of life in South Ossetia

The article presents the main conclusions of the study of psychological characteristics of the life of modern Ossetians. similarities and differences in the life of North and South Ossetians are considered. The totality of a number of components of life is represented by basic life orientations; system and the ratio of individual life meanings. The locus of control is a special personal characteristic, depending on which individuals are divided into those who are more sensitive to situational influences, and those whose behavior is mainly determined by personal dispositions. Belonging to a particular type of localization of control affects the diverse characteristics of his psyche and behavior, considers the position of gender and age.
