The article substantiates the need to pay more attention to the scientific research activity of students of higher education institutions as an activity for the development of value-conceptual and civil position of future specialist (scientific and scientific-pedagogical personnel of innovative Russia); the method of students' life strategies designing; the development models of the value relations of higher education institution graduates to themselves, other people, the world around; social and cultural phenomenon, etc. On the basis of the analysis of the available theoretical and factual basis the concept of an alternative solution to the stated problem has been presented.
