Бесплатный доступ

Russian migrants in Siberia in the XVII century connected with administrative services settled mostly here for the whole life. With a service pay and benefits from the state these settlers provided better-off living, could set up a housekeeping and start a family. A household of a service man consists of a vast home garden and a parcel of land in the neighborhood. With the course of time Siberian agricultural regions crossed over to the grain crop self-production and stopped being supplied with food from the European part of the country. Many of the service men moved with their families, including wives, children and other relatives. Service men used to rely on the support of their multitudinary relatives in difficult situations. According to the historical evidence of the XVII century, the majority of the service men were on service for over 20, 30 or even 50years. Such situation is proved by the fact of existence of the multigenerational households and historical records. Service men incured casualties in the fights and the brush with the natives. They got various wounds, that were ty of the service. Attention to the life experience in the primary sources lets us speak about special significance of the elders that is in general very peculiar to the Orthodox ideology. The point to be emphasized is that talking about the respect to the age we base on materials concerned only to the service men, who had special conditions in the colonized region.
