The study involved 45 mothers raising a child with disabilities, and 45 mothers raising normotypic peers of primary school age. According to the indicators of S. Muddy’s Resilience Test, no significant differences were found between the groups of mothers. According to the indicators of K. Riff’s scale of Psychological Well-being there were also no significant differences between the groups of mothers, with the exception of Environmental Mastery, the values of which are lower in the group of mothers of children with disabilities. Rokeach’s Personal Values Survey showed that for all mothers, the most important terminal values are «health» and «love» and the instrumental values are «polite» and «cheerful». For mothers of children with disabilities, the value of «an active life» is significantly more important and «a prosperous life» is less important. Analysis revealed statistically significant correlations between all indicators of Resilience Test and indicators of scale of Psychological Well-being. Mothers raising normotypic children revealed much more correlation of values with the indicators of Resilience Test and Scale of Psychological Well-being than parents of children with disabilities.
