Journalists and authorities in West Siberia in the 1930s: conformism and resistance

The article is devoted to government pressure on Soviet press of pre-war time, which was carried out by party-Soviet structures and state security services. Two models of journalists behavior was considered, conformism and resistance which was counteracted by repressions of the most noticeable newspaper and magazine journalists.
