The article deals with the problem of abuse of procedural rights in civil proceedings. In the course of consideration of this problem, the authors come to the conclusion that the legal norms provided by the legislator that contribute to countering the unscrupulous behavior of persons participating in the case are insufficient. The authors propose their own legal model, which will contribute to more effective prevention of abuse of procedural rights.
