The importance of art clusters in the formation of young artists (on the example of the Tavrida cluster)

The purpose of the study is to define the phenomenon of “art cluster” within the framework of contemporary Russian art and its influence on the formation of young cultural figures. The article reveals the concept of art clusters through considering the terminology and approaches to the study of this phenomenon of the creative industry, analyzes the influence of creative associations on the development of modern culture and art, determines the functionality of which creative clusters are endowed, identifies features that allow attributing the activity of a creative association to an art cluster. In the author’s sphere of interest are the processes taking place in the field of fine arts, and as the most dynamically developing cluster, “Art-cluster“ Tavrida ”” was chosen to illustrate an example. The scientific novelty of the research lies in the consideration of art clusters from the standpoint of their influence on the formation of creative and cultural relationships within professional workshops. As a result, a conclusion was made about the importance of the cluster approach in the development of modern culture and art, as well as the point of view was expressed that art clusters are one of the most promising tools in the formation of innovative cultural policy in Russia.
