The significance of values in the management of social systems

The paper studies the category of value in the management of social systems. The value framework, along with the diversity, is considered as the main principles of the historical development of the society. The author discusses advantages of the value approach to management in comparison with the behavioral approach based on positive and negative incentives. It is concluded that the values form a powerful integrative world outlook foundation of human behavior and activity in the context of social group activity.
