The importance of foreign investment in the economy of the Russian Federation

The article considers the practical aspects of the foreign investment development in the economy of the Russian Federation. Both positive and negative characteristics of this economic process are specified. The recommendations for the negative impact diminishing of the foreign investment to the economy of the Russian Federation are proposed. In the conclusion authors come to a conclusion that it is necessary to increase the level of own financial efforts for the purpose of development of national economy, to focus economic development on stimulation of investments of domestic large, medium and small business.
