The importance of competition in the formation of market value

The article considers the main advantages and disadvantages of competition, as well as its influence on the formation of market value. Classical theories on this topic are presented. Based on the economic teachings of K. Marx, A. Smith, D. Ricardo, a modern vision of the formation of market value, and the relationship of these aspects with the competition between producers, are derived.
