The article considers the importance of innovations in the transport sector. It is shown that the effectiveness of organizations in the market conditions significantly depends on the degree of use in their marketing activities. Successful marketing activity provides the company with a strong competitive position. Of particular importance is marketing in the development of innovation. Having considered the importance of innovations in the transport sector, a special place of social innovations, the author concludes that a deep analysis of the features of marketing support of social innovations in transport will allow to form a technology for the development of a marketing mix, significantly reducing the marketing budgets of transport companies and increasing the effectiveness of the impact.
