The importance of mathematics in secondary professional education

The article considers the importance of mathematics in secondary vocational education. Mathematics lays the theoretical basis for the study of special disciplines and forms the basis for general scientific training of a specialist. The high professional level of a modern specialist assumes a solid command of mathematical methods and skills in using them. In the process of studying mathematics, the qualities of the graduate are formed such as logical harmony and rigor of conclusions, spatial imagination, the ability to provide convincing and well-reasoned evidence, see problems in general and in detail, the ability to analyze the situation and find non-standard solutions.
