The importance of new transport corridors for the economy of the Russian Federation

Effectively functioning transport corridors are in many ways the key to the active development of the economy of any country. However, in the conditions of 2022-2023, the established routes connecting the commodity flows of many countries turned out to be inoperative. The establishment of a new economic order in the global space has radically changed logistics formats. To develop trade relations with partner countries, the problem of designing new transport routes that can meet the needs of participants in foreign economic activity has become urgent. The article examines the main directions of development of international transport corridors that contribute to increasing the supply of Russian goods to new markets, primarily focused on southern and eastern geographical directions. The introduction of new transport routes will ensure the systemic integration of regional markets into a single platform, the active subjects of which will be the friendly countries of the Russian Federation.
