The importance of the social policy of the state in the life of society

In this article, the authors examine the social policy of the Russian Federation in the context of the modern development of the state. The definition of social policy is considered, as well as its main goals and objectives are touched upon. The main indicators of the effectiveness of social policy are revealed, first of all, the level and quality of life of the population. Regulatory legal acts and national projects mentioning the present standard of living of the population and aimed at improving it are mentioned. The authors believe that social policy is implemented in the interests of all categories of citizens, it is aimed at eliminating the contradictions between the various interests of various subjects, the present and future interests of society.
