Flags of service class men in Central Siberia in XVII century (Yeniseisk, Krasnoyarsk)

This article is devoted to the flags of service class men in two fortresses - Krasnoyarsk and Yeniseisk. This article presents an attempt to tell about the form of these flags, methods of their using and meaning for Siberian service class men on the basis of the documents which are kept in Russian State archive of ancient acts as well as other sources. Besides, in some cases the author tried to discover the origin of symbolism of the flags in Yeniseisk and Krasnoyarsk, and by that to show their regional specificity.
