Probe diagnostics in rarefied plasma

Experimental data of ion current on electric probe in low-pressure rarefied plasma conditions were obtained. A comparison of experimental results with the results of theoretical modeling was done. The data analysis shows that in all cases the experimental result is close to the approximation of radial drift, and the influence of thermal ion velocity on probe current value is absent.
