Zoonyms as a reflection of the cultural code in modern Kyrgyz art

The article explores the use of zoonymic elements in contemporary Kyrgyz art, emphasizing their role in preserving and conveying national cultural identity. Examples from painting, literature, and other artistic forms are analyzed to examine the connection between zoonymy, mythology, folklore, and the ethnographic traditions of the Kyrgyz people. The study aims to identify the significance of zoonymic symbols as a bridge between cultural heritage and modern artistic trends. The analysis focuses on the semantics of zoonyms and their impact on the audience’s perception of artworks. The results demonstrate that zoonyms serve not only as decorative elements but also as powerful carriers of cultural codes, fostering intercultural communication and dialogue.
