Abscess pneumonia in gunshot wound of the thorax (a case report)

This article presents the clinical observation of the patient with a gunshot wound of the thorax and the results of such diagnostic methods as bronchoscopy, x-ray and computed tomography. This clinical observation gives an idea of the possibilities of radiological methods used in gunshot chest trauma. The use of computed tomography in the detection of changes resulting from a gunshot wound to the chest, gives the possibility of obtaining information about the damage of the chest and the dynamics of its healing during therapy that determines the choice of the appropriate treatment strategy and prognosis.
