Adaptation and integration of adult foreign citizens into Russian society in a metropolis: problems of the Russian language and social support

The development of practical recommendations for the effective social and cultural adaptation of adult foreign citizens and their integration into Russian society in a metropolis is a problem that does not lose its relevance and practical significance in the 21st century. To study it, the authors solve the following tasks: 1) to systematize and summarize relevant data on the problems of socio-cultural integration and adaptation of adult foreigners who come to Russia to study or work; 2) to identify and formulate the problems of integrating foreign citizens into Russian society; 3) to develop proposals and approaches to solving the identified problems, to determine the starting points for the development of a positive practice of integrating foreign citizens in Russia. The published materials are a continuation of the study, published in the spring 2023, and allow us to find out the opinion of the participants in relations in the process of socio-cultural integration of foreign citizens in Russia and develop approaches to their adaptation.
