Adaptation of the vascular system to environmental factors

An experimental study was conducted (male white rats weighing 180-220 g) on animals in order to identify the effect of zinc sulfate on the wall of elastic and mixed types of arteries. During the experiment, a 2.5% solution of 30 mg/kg was injected into the peritoneum for 45 days, as a result, starting from the 5th day, significant morphological changes in the studied arteries were revealed.
