Adaptive physical culture as a means of social adaptation of children with disabilities

The article considers adaptive physical culture as a means of social adaptation of children with disabilities. For people with psychophysical disorders, physical culture and sports activities are especially important. Since the peculiarities of their development create obstacles related not only to physical capabilities, but also social ones. Adaptive physical culture, in addition to rehabilitation, teaches "special" children to understand and respect their body, promotes the development of communicative and social competencies, makes it easier to integrate into society. The article also notes the indicators of successful social adaptation of a child with disabilities and how they are formed in the process of engaging in adaptive physical culture and sports activities. In addition, attention is focused on the process of designing by the teacher of the educational process with children with special educational needs in this discipline.
