Administrative liability as a type of legal liability

This article examines current issues for the science of administrative law – issues of administrative responsibility in the system of legal responsibility. The main attention is paid to the fundamental aspects of administrative responsibility, its special features, principles, goals, tasks and functions are defined, and a definition of administrative responsibility is formed, proposed for inclusion in the text of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation. The connection of administrative responsibility with the generic category (legal responsibility) is separately considered, which made it possible to correlate these legal categories. Based on the results of the study, a system of general and special features, principles, goals, tasks and functions of administrative responsibility in the domestic state is formed.
