Administrative and legal responsibility for ecological offenses in the sphere of atmospheric air protection (on the example of the Chelyabinsk region)

The article notes that natural components, such as atmospheric air, are subject to protection from pollution. The Chelyabinsk region is included in the list of regions with a high level of atmospheric air pollution (the index of atmospheric air pollution is more than 7). The article considers the preventive function of administrative responsibility for damage caused to atmospheric air. The author analyzes the delineation of administrative offenses from crimes in the field of environmental protection, types of administrative penalties for damage caused to atmospheric air.
