Administrative and legal regulation of social security in the Russian Federation: some problems and directions of improvement

The article is devoted to the study of individual issues of social (pension) provision for the population of the Russian Federation in the context of the current demographic and political-economic situations. The directions of improvement of the conceptual and categorical apparatus in the considered area of legal regulation are considered, individual aspects of establishing pensions for foreign citizens and stateless persons, as well as citizens of newly annexed territories are analyzed. Special attention is paid to the current aspects of pension provision for employees of internal affairs bodies. The need for introducing additional social guarantees for this category of civil servants aimed at preserving the human resources potential of the most experienced employees is substantiated. Specific recommendations for optimizing the current legislation are proposed.
