Administrative punishments: current state, problems, prospects

Introduction: the article examines the issues of legal regulation of administrative penalties, their role and significance from the standpoint of theoretical and practical understanding. The issues of both formal regulation of administrative penalties and their social value, real efficiency are touched upon. A number of problems in the application of administrative penalties and prospects for further improvement of the legal framework are noted.
