Adyghe epic "The Narts": to the characterization of a multi-volume set of the heroic epic texts

The Adyghe epic “The Narts” is considered as a large epic work which plot basis is underlain by the generalized and idealized actions of heroes. By the number of characters the studied epic is divided into 26 cycles which names are associated with the names of the main heroes. The volume of each cycle depends on a plot saturation acts of the main character. The actual material of a multi-volume contains 705 separate texts. Language and style of the texts of the epic are characterized by extreme expressiveness, a syllable height, persuasiveness of sounding.
