Axiogenic situation in English and Russian poetry for children

The article, based on the material of English and Russian poetry for children, deals with axiogenic situation as a means of value formation concerning both traditional and common to mankind values. The range of axiogenic situations in question together with the description of their special features and verbalization methods is presented.
