Axiological dominant “angel” in the poetic world of A.A. Tarkovsky

The article is devoted to the investigation of the representation of the axiological dominant angel in poetic discourse. The discourse is presented as an actualization of the interaction of text structures with extralinguistic factors. Poetic discourse is considered as a complex structural and semantic formation, an axiological system having a certain functional perspective. The basis of poetic discourse is a system of concepts that are verbalized in accordance with the nature and originality of material, spiritual and social culture, in close connection with linguistic and pragmatic components. The angel is considered as an axiological dominant, independent of the temporary historical stage, filled with a multifaceted semantic content, depending on the specific culture and experience of the author. The axiological dominant of the poetic discourse angel forms the concept as a set of contextual meanings. The article presents the semantic content of the meaning (metameaning) angel in the poetic texts of Arseniy Tarkovsky. When the word angel appears in a poetic context, the structural and semantic content of the religious concept is largely transformed. The meanings representing this concept within the framework of poetic discourse are revealed. The given examples illustrate the statements under consideration. The analysis was carried out by means of contextual and linguistic-hermeneutic methods. The practical value of the paper consists of the application of the results of the investigation in the course of stylistics, text interpretation, discourse theory, theory and practice of translation. The data obtained can be used in the course of the analysis of the concept sphere of poetic discourse.
