Activation of students’ professional and personal potential in conditions of informatization of higher education

The article presents the possibilities of introducing new ways and methods of teaching, using program-targeted tools. The author analyzes an attitude to innovations in educational practice and the state of tertiary education, consideres new approaches to the professional training of university graduates. As a result of the observations, the necessity to ensure an availability of resources containing news information, announcements and tools for communication of participants in the educational process, conditions for free and open access to electronic library databases, the Internet, additional sources of choice of higher-quality and pedagogically effective means of teaching and information support of the educational process, the creation of prospects for research work of students is noted.
