Active imagination as a basis organizations of personal leisure activities

In the article the study of the essence of active imagination in the form of the basis for the organization of leisure activities is centered on the social and individual cognitive properties of the person. Being the leading cognitive ability of a person, an active imagination ensures its inclusion in the world of values of universal human culture and art. The role of cultural institutions and additional education in the orientation towards cultural development and reproduction in an expanded perspective of subspecies of the active imagination of the person: recreating and creative is shown. Offering various forms of leisure to ensure an axiologically balanced process of developing active imagination, they provide individuals with freedom of choice based on the principles of voluntariness, taking into account age and individual characteristics, and connection with real sociocultural reality. The significance of the phenomenon of anticipation as a mobile component of the structure of professional abilities of specialists in the sociocultural sphere, aimed at organizing leisure time, is revealed.
