The activity of redox enzymes in sunflower genotypes with different resistance to broomrape

The article presents the research on the activity of redox enzymes in sunflower genotypes with different resistance to broomrape. In the experiment it was determined that the enzyme activity depended on the genotype. In some cases was observed the positive heterosis on the index of enzymes activity that depended on the selection of the parent forms. The polyphenol oxidase and catalase activity in the studied genotypes was significantly higher than the susceptible line-standard indexes that indicate the ability to predict resistance to broomrape on these factors.
