The article examines the application of active and competency-based teaching methods in the field of phthisiology, emphasizing their importance for modern medical education. The main purpose of the course is to form a set of professional knowledge, skills and abilities among interns for the diagnosis and treatment of emergency conditions in pulmonary tuberculosis. The teaching methodology includes the integration of knowledge on radiology and tuberculosis, as well as the use of Case-Based Learning (CBL) and other interactive forms of work such as role-playing and business games. The results show an increase in students' interest and academic performance, as well as the development of their clinical thinking. The article emphasizes the importance of a multidisciplinary approach and active teaching methods in training specialists who are able to respond effectively to complex medical tasks.
