The authors explore the methodology of teaching mathematics as a field of applied humanitarian knowledge. Sociocultural aspect of mathematical education responsible for goal-setting, motivation, explanation, comprehension and other functions is emphasized. Based on one separate academic discipline, the authors undertake a task to integrate mathematical knowledge with humanitarian one and to build relations between mathematics and culture, mathematics and social sphere.
