Modern conditions dictate new tasks and working conditions for teachers. It is inconceivable to envision a school today without active positioning in the public sphere, where media platforms are operational, media classes are being formed, and teachers are engaging with students and parents through messaging applications and social networks. The media disseminates various information regarding schools and teachers; however, media literacy among educators is still in its nascent stages. The article analyzes the necessity for teachers to enter the information space and the question of creating a teacher’s image on social media. Through specific examples, the article elucidates the skills required for effective positioning, explores the interrelationship between image and reputation, and examines the essential competencies that modern teachers must possess to adeptly create a personal brand. Furthermore, the article proposes concrete tools that can serve as key resources for any teacher embarking on the journey of personal branding. In conclusion, the development of a personal brand is not merely an option but a necessity for modern teachers to navigate the complexities of the modern educational landscape and to enhance their professional identity in an increasingly digital world.
